i have had my majesty palm for almost a year. at the end of this last winter it started dripping sap everywhere, i have had pest problems in my home. i haven't been able to identify the pest. it spins i thin wewb like substance on the new growth and eats the new growth. i can not see the pest. there are always small hard crystal-like substances left behind. i'm asuming this is sap. it hasn't touched my prayer plant, cactus and some of my trees. it loves my orange tree, jasmine, any herbs, bamboo and many more. i'm not sure if this is what's making the palm leak sap or if this is natural. when i put other plants outside the pest seems to go away. should i take the palm outside to see what happens? can anyon identify my pest?
