Madeira tree/shrub.

Trying to add names to some very old pics from February 2007.
I have had no joy!
Please can you help?

 

Guessing, but maybe a species of Pistacia or other Anacardiaceae? Probably way off, though!

Did a bit more hunting on www, and asked for help from Botanist, Raimundo Quintal, who knows the flora of Madeira.

Turns out it is Schotia brachypetala.

Never even heard of that one, no wonder I didn't get it! Good you were able to find out.
