This plant is 6 1/2 feet high, Its out growing my living room, is there any way to cut it and reroot the cuttings
Many, if not all, pachypodiums are propagated via cuttings or seeds. The exact technique/method with a somewhat mature plant...I don't know. However, there are professionals that may help. https://highlandsucculents.safeserver.com/default.htm They do quite a bit of pachypodium propagation. If you e-mail or call them, they might be able to give you the best advice.
Thanx Mark, but they wont answer any questions of this type and only provide a basic growing guide can anyone else help me out?
Sorry, I thought they would be more open to giving a fellow pachypodium grower some help. All I have read has said that you can take a cutting, let the underside callous over for a day or two, then plant, and keep it somewhat moist until the roots begin to develop, then gradually back off on the watering. Personally, I have done this with many other succulent species (crassula, stapelia, euphorbia, etc.) with success, just not my "pachys". I have a sampling of four different pachypodium, but they are still pretty small.
