Identification: Lupinus latifolius or lepidus

    I think I have narrowed it down to latifolius and Lepidus. Catherine Creek Trail. Klickitat Washington, Columbia Gorge.

    I dont see any of the persistent bracts below the opened flowers that would be characteristic of lepidus.

    Lupinus polyphyllus ?
    Large-leaved lupin native to western North America (from the Pacific States east to the Rocky Mountains in the USA and north to British Columbia in Canada), where it is found from sea level to 2,200 m (occasionally to 2,600 m) above sea level.
