This weekend we had another lovely harvest of citrus fruit as can be seen in the photo. Even with the severe cold outside (reached below -10C here!) our little greenhouse is kept just a smidge above 0C using gazebo heaters and the plants have thrived. We have been steadily harvesting lovely baskets of citrus fruit from our collection of 58 different kids of citrus. This Sunday we picked Kiyomi Tangors, Shasta Gold mandarins, Tango mandarins, Honey Tangerines, Ackay Sekeri, Vanilla blood oranges, and Moro blood oranges. By picking a few baskets at a time we can keep harvesting over many months and enjoy the fruit fresh from the tree.
