    Hi!
I am really getting into saving all of my seeds from my food. I would love to get them growing into plants (if they yield food that would be an added bonus)

    What's the steps?

(for instance, I cleaned out my organic acorn squash and cleaned the seeds, now the seeds are drying in the window.)

Also, I have been saving all my o.g. fuji and red delicious seeds... we eat so many apples.

all comments and suggestions are welcome and needed!

    Have a blessed day!!

I've tried planting fruit seeds in plain potting soil. Make a small hole, put the seed inside, cover, water. Then put them in bags. But I find fruit seeds to take a long time to sprout sometimes, so be patient. Give them maximum light on the windowsill and when they get too big, repot and move outside (preferably during spring/early summer).
