I currently have cabbage palms, a queen & a jelly palm. One of my cabbage palms has died & one was replanted in the same spot. It died also. This particular spot remains very moist compared to all of the other palms that are doing well. In Baton Rouge, LA I'm looking for a replacement that can handle full sun & moist soil. Any suggestions on a tropical palm or large tropical plant. Thanks

Perhaps a Musa or Ensete (banana) will work in that location. These will put on a tropical display rather quickly.

    Cheers, LPN.
