Looking for answers.... location Midwestern Ontario rural setting. I have a number of nursery grown Colarado Spruce trees, planted one year ago started in mid march to turn brown & drop needles very quickly from the middle downward on tree. Colour of trees pale. One was replaced last spring from same problem

There is a fungus that causes needle cast of spruces as you describe.
