    Hi

I've managed to grow some loquat from seed and they were doing quite well but although new leaves are growing the older leaves are turning dry & brown at the edges!

I've been letting the soil get quite dry before watering!

These loquat are currently growing inside as I was unsure if they could cope with the current climate England has to offer being that they are so young!

Can anyone give me any tips?

    Many thanks!

Give it a larger pot and more humid air, if you want the leaves to last better.

It is winter-hardy outdoors in Britain, but needs much hotter summers to produce fruit successfully.

I'd be sure to keep the soil moist. Fruiting occurs some years in Seattle, I have seen quantities of them produced on occasion.
