Wildflowers: Looks like a thistle with broad flat leaves

    These grow all over in a field near here (Portland Oregon) I can't seem to identify it. It looks like a thistle but the leaves are broad and flat. Completely different from bull thistle that also grows here. I took some pictures if anyone is able to identify it.
