Wildflowers: Looking to identify wild plant

    Can anyone identify these plants ? The photo was shot on the trail up to the Trophy Mountain alpine wildflowers in Wells Grey, somewhat near the top, so this could be called a sub-alpine plant although I think it can be found quite extensively in damp shady areas.

    Veratrum viride (also see here: Veratrum viride) aka Indian false hellebore.

    Photographs of its leaves (or that of its relative, Veratrum californicum) can be found in the works of many famous photographers.

    Quite poisonous.
