I have been looking for awhile now and not able to find what type of tree this is.
The closest so far is Ailanthus family (Tree of Heaven)
It is a strong grower, have to trim every year otherwise it try's to take over other trees.
It is evergreen, with small flowers right now that turn into very small berries (guess).
    Any help
    Thanks
    James

    Yes you nailed it.
Now a question: even though I keep it trimmed will the trunk continue to grow in size?
It is getting big and getting close to a concrete patio.
