    Do you know were I can find a general listing of plant symbols that landscape architects use in their designs. I doubt there's an official list, but I've noticed a trend in the industry to group plant types into similar symbols.

    Thanks!

    Here's a good list.

    http://www.sustland.umn.edu/design/lanscapesym.html

    It covers trees, shrubs and grasses. Do you know if architects also use symbols unique for the following plant types types?

    * Perennials
    * Bulbs
    * Annuals
    * Palms
    * Roses
    * Cacti & Succulents
    * Vegetables, Fruits, Berries
    * Herbs
    * Water Plants
    * House Plants & Tropicals

    Thanks
