Hello~ I am a graduate student at UC Davis working on the population genetics and evolution of pampas grass. I need small leaf samples from landscape plantings containing more than one plant and am wondering if anyone knows of any accessible plantings in California where I would be able to sample. Contact the invasive plant groups in nearby regions where the plant would be found. They will certainly have individuals who track populations as volunteers or else happen to know where the worst infestations are.
