Looking for Cedar of Lebanon seeds

I am looking for Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani) seeds available in Canada, preferably close to Vancouver. Does anyone know where I can get them locally?

It's not local but you might check with The Banana Tree. I've ordered from them (many years ago) and did not have any problem. Taking a cue from the picture on their site you may want to contact bonsai shops around Vancouver for seed or even seedlings. Sunny Bonsai comes to mind.

Regulations may have changed. Apparently a phytosanitary certificate is now required. According to the CFIA document Import of Tree and Shrub Seed into Canada:

For tree and shrub seed propagated in the United States: A plant health permit is not required. Each shipment must be accompanied with a phytosanitary certificate issued from the United States Department of Agriculture.

For tree and shrub seed not propagated in the United States but purchased from a US exporter of tree and shrub seed: A section 32 plant health permit to import for each country of propagation is required. Import permits will be valid for 3 years. Import permits will be issued for various exporters within the country of propagation. The US exporter of tree and shrub seed will be noted as the Exporter but not the country of propagation.
