Would someone know Canadian source(s) that sell cuttings (bud wood or scions) for stone fruit (such as cherries, plums, peaches, apricots etc)? I would like to experiment with diffenet methods of grafting as backyard hobbyist. I know failure should not hurt when it is just a backyard hobby but successes may have a lot of good therapeutic benefits for retirees & the young ones too.
Yes Ron, thanks. Will it also be called "Scion"?. Wood that can be used for grafting on rootstocks, or buds from it chip-budded onto existing other varieties of the same species. I hope there are some nurseries doing such business in Canada.
prairiegrapes Thanks for the information. Yes, they sell the kind of items I am looking for. However, they are selling new varieties (or newly crossed varieties) recently developed to see its potential and market acceptability. Thanks again.
