Hi! I am looking for the plant Callisia Repens (plants or seeds), also known as Creeping Inchplant, Turtle Vine, or (Bolivian) Wandering Jew - as far as I know. I've called nurseries around Vancouver, contacted shops carrying tropical plants, and searched the web, but no luck. If anyone would be able to help me find this plant I would appreciate it sincerely! Or, if someone is aware of a specific reason why this plant cannot be found here, I'd be thankful for that information too. - Maybe it cannot be imported due to it self-propagating easily? I know that it is a plant that would have to be kept indoors, I am looking for this plant to be grown as a food plant, as it contains lots of raw fiber, raw ashes and minerals, all of which make it great organic food for lots of animals (turtles, budgies, rodents...). Again, any help would be appreciated!
