Hello i am new to this site. I am looking for a plant that is known as the blood plant. i am not sure of the technical name of the plant. I have grown them in the years past but i went back to the place this year where i got them last year and they didn't have any and have no clue what i am talking about. would be great if some one knew the technical name for it so i can see if i can get them or if some one knew where in mn i can get it.
    Thanks for the help.

I don't know any plant with that common name, but several are referred to as "blood" something, usually for their red colour. Can you give us a description? Size, colour, flowers, leaf shape, smell, how it is used in gardens?

the leaves are a darkisk bright red color with dark almost black veins. they grown almost like a tree. they grow straight up. there is no smell to it. i have always planted them in a pot the fewer you plant in a pot the bigger they get. does not flower.
