Long leaf plant with purple berries

Hi,

Two of these plants have shown up in my mom's yard. They are very healthy and we are trying to figure out what they are and if they might be invasive. I can't locate the photo I had of the purple berries they had.

The leaves are a very dark, glossy green.

Daphne laureola, a protected native plant here, in my area, but an invasive weed in your area... :(

Popping up all over, including your place. Hard to pull out.
