The following was received via email: I would like a Clematis to grow & spread on an arbour. We need a long blooming (all summer) vine & one that doesn`t have to be pruned back. The arbour surrounds a swimming pool & we don`t want seed pods dropping in the summer. Any suggestions? Thx Gary
Clematis 'Ville de Lyon' Clematis 'Ville de Lyon' would be a good choice. It blooms for a long period and needs little pruning. See this link for a photo.
