Hi, I am new and would appreciate some help regarding my Live Oak.

Two days ago it looked healthy and beautiful....
Today it has brown leaves, and very sick....
What do I need to look for, and what do I need to do to help my tree recover?

Not all leaves are brown: I would say about 50% of this tree is affected.

    Please help.

    Thank you

Mineral salts in irrigation water? Salt-laden coastal winds? What has happened in the planting site recently?

Lots rain. We water from a well. Fertilized the lawn last week: Scott's turf builder.

This tree was planted 5 years ago.

Was it the "plus Weed Control" version?

If so your tree could be suffering from herbicide damage.

I almost included herbicide damage in my list of questions. Timing would certainly suggest that it got burned by something in the fertilizer. Maybe you put on too much.
