live in Alabama too late to plant?

    I live in central Alabama, I have read where plants get a better start if planted in the fall because of the warm soil. Do I have time for planting flower seeds started now to make this a better time than in the spring? Your advice will be very much appreciated.

    HI ,faerie in alabama here.. the seeds I want to plant are perinnials. forgive me if I spell them wrong it's early morning for me..zinnia and wildflower mix ..some seeds I propagated and refrigarated from purple coneflower ech... something...
