    Hello,
I got this little "tree" as a gift and all I know is that it's supposedly from Ghana.
The "trunk" is smooth with little white specks.
I got the instructions to give it little water and a lot of sun. It's growing incredible slow and I would like to find out more about it to help it grow.
I hope somebody has a clue, because it's driving me nuts not knowing what it is...

That's pretty. It looks like "Plerandra elegantissima (formerly called Schefflera elegantissima and Dizygotheca elegantissima) also known as false aralia". That's from Wikipedia. I'm unhappy to learn of its new name, as I've already lived through the two older names and don't think I have much hope of learning the new one.

Thanks so much for the info and so quick!
After having a look it really seems like it is a false aralia! Now I can learn more about this "stranger" in my home.
