It is a purple leaf form of Cotinus coggygria. Common name Smoke bush.
It may be a named cultivar such as Royal purple.

Shot on the right in particular looks like Cotinus 'Grace' to me. This has become fairly prevalent in my area. If the one you are asking about here is the same, it will be producing larger leaves (and more diffuse inflorescences) than is usual for C. coggygria.
