Little tree growing in stones

    Looks more like sureau / elder Sambucus to me. Very early leafing out in spring is characteristinc of the genus, too.

    Elders often have tinted young leaves also, just like we see on this one.

    Yes I think you're right !

    The bark is indeed light grey and my potting mix comes from a place where there's a lots of Sambucus nigra.

    Run your fingers along the stem. Sambucus stems are warty and have a characteristically foetid odour. Viburnum (also in Adoxaceae—the moschatel family) has a similar stem and flower morphology and many species smell stinky.
