I realize that for many of the "hard core" gardeners out there, you likely have seen such a wonderful array of flowers that a miniature rose hybrid can be considered relatively mundane. However, with my wife and I being relatively new to the magnificent world of gardening - everything seems extraordinarily beautiful. There are definitely a few "standouts" for us, and the Little Artist miniature rose is certainly one of them. Not quite sure how to explain why, just that it is simple and subtle with such rich colour. Here is a picture from one of ours:
