Lithops (Living Stones): Growth

    Hello SvenLittkowski,
    I was googling stawberry in Jamaica and came across your post. did u ever figure out what was wrong with your strawberries? Let me know...I'm really interested.

    No, not sure yet. But fact is, that these strawberries were sent to me from my family in Germany, and that those strawberries might have been used for German climate and soil.

    I think, they couldn't manage Jamaican temperatures and Jamaican soil. One died quickly within two weeks right after transplanting into Jamaican soil (inside my apartment but with plenty light), the other strawberry plant survived around one month.

    Thnks. Florida has developed strawberries which might be suitable in the jamaican climate but they are patented :-( want to get my hands on some of those ;-)

    ! I think, it should be possible to buy them in the supermarkets. At least where you are, not here, alas. Maybe you can send me some seeds then by regular letter. Do you think that is possible?
