That's a very good suggestion, I don't know why I didn't think of that, for some reason I had it in my head that Villa Taranto was a purple/red but looking at the VT thread on here it certainly looks close.
    Thank you.

With that kinda growth rate, it looks like Atrolineare. My Villa tarranto grows very slowly.

    My pleasure D97x7

    Interesting sasquatch.

Mine is fast growing ( it's about 12 ft high ) and has the same open stucture as D97's and is more upright than my Seiryu and Lionheart.

On the Villa taranto thread there is some discussion about different looking VTs.

Ah, I'd completely forgotten about this thread.
Do people still think this is Villa Taranto?
I'm not so sure anymore as it no longer comes out with the beautiful orange leafs and a couple of members in the VT thread seemed to think it was just a Linearilobum of some sort. Doesn't really bother me what it is but as I didn't want to put it in the wrong thread I thought I'd pop a picture up here.

That really does look like Villa Taranto to me N, but with my track record on Cultivar ID, even though I have this one in my garden, it might not be....but I'm fairly confident it is.

Thank you, this one definitely leans more towards red these days, so possibly not a VT then. I'll try and get some better pictures later in the year.
