Limp tomatoe leaves

    Suppose I told you, "For some mysterious reason my tomato grows numerous leaves, long vines, and even a couple of tomatoes blossom. Afterwards the plant shrivels away and dies. So one wonders if the plant received enough sunlight, which sounds reasonable. Unfortunately, despite their wonder, they are unable to recognize if the lack of sunlight is the cause of death."

    Given this scenario how would you rule out whether the tomato died due to a lack of sunlight?
