I was surprised when I wondered my backyard to see that the "grass" like plant was blooming. At first I thought it was just ornamental grass the former owners had planted. I took a picture and showed my mother-in-law, she told me it was called "Devil's tongue" but a google search pulled up a completely different plant. Anyone know what this plant is?

OMG SS I never realized there were so many. I recognize 'Lucifer', orange ones and yellow ones, and that's about it. Someone told me they saw a deep red or burgundy crocosmia. Have you? barb
