I think this is a Lily. The closest I'm getting is either Daylily (Hermerocallis) or Ginger lily (Alpinia zingiberaceae), but the flowers aren't right for Ginger lily. The folks in my OH department said it was Ginger, but I can't find anything based on searching for "Ginger". I've attached the pics....I couldn't figure out how to show them directly in this post. I have more if it'll help. These pictures were taken locally two weeks ago. Thanks. Don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything I can do to make this easier to identify.

Awesome, it definitely looks like some kind of Canna...not sure which one yet though. The seed pods look exactly like the one on Wikipedia! I'm looking around, but I've uploaded pics of the leaves and a dry seed pod....just in case I don't figure it out before you, or someone else, figures it out. Thanks!
That one looks like it could be it, but so does Canna indica. I'm going to take a look at both, and decide which one to cut later...or maybe put both in my report and hope I get extra credit. Thanks for the help!
