    Hi
Living here in southern Ontario i have many Lilies and Asiatic Lilly's, I'm assuming that somewhere in the world they grow all year round and are not know as perennials as i know them. could i bring them into my conservatory permanently, and if so what would be there cycle (as the winter die off would not happen) does the flower fall off and it re-buds? if someone could enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Rick h.

No these always have a winter dormancy during which they do not have foliage. If the climate is not cold enough to support this behavior then such plants simply cannot grow in such places.

Asiatic lilies is spelled the same as lilies.

Your Asiatics lilies should come back every year after their winter dormancy and multiply too!

    Hi Againu
Then if Lilly's are indoor in a tropical environment would they just stay green drop the flowers and go i guess dormant then rebud in the spring or how would it work or do they not grow in this environment naturally?

Note again that it is spelled lilies. Often with temperate climate plants that require a cold dormant period if this is not provided they may simply fail to grow after going dormant the first time. With a herbaceous plant like lilies the top might die off once and then that's it, a new top never appearing later. Or a plant might struggle a few years with the unsuitable climate, growing abnormally for awhile but eventually failing.
