I have a lilac tree, not sure what type that started to have, I guess from what I read are suckers? What do I do with theses? Can I grow new trees from these sprouts? I have attached some pictures. These just started this year and are growing fast!

Since this is a tree shape the suckers would be pruned out.

Can I replant these suckers to grow roots and start another tree?

If you are familiar with rooting lilacs from cuttings or can read up on it, get it to work for you then you could get new plants of whichever kind makes up that part of the specimen - they have pruned and trained the one used for the head to have a single trunk or the grower could have grafted that kind onto the trunk of another variety. The latter may still be the more common approach.

With fruit trees (and perhaps some other groups) a specimen may even consist of a different tree each for the roots, the trunk and the top.
