A citrus tree in the right location and well taken care of can live between 60 - 100+ years. The worlds oldest citrus, is a Sour Orange that was planted in the year 1200 by Saint Dominic in the court of the Catholic Dominican Convent of Saint Sabina in Rome. That makes this tree 809 years old. This tree is still alive and doing well.
