    Hello Friends:

I am from Spain (Majorca Island)

Last May I went on holiday to the island of Faial in the Azores. They did more than 1200 photographs of plants, ferns, mosses, liverworts and lichens. I have identified all but lichens. I need your help to identify them.

    Sorry I can't help Mundani,
I'm familiar with some of the lichens in my region, but none of the specimens in your photos look familiar enough for me to guess the genus.
Hopefully someone from that region, or a serious lichenologist, will recognize and respond, but generally you need much closer photos to make IDs with lichens.
For example, I think I see apothecia in the second photo, but I can't tell for sure, and that can be quite diagnostic for lichens.
...if #3 were from my region and hanging from a tree I'd maybe suggest Ramalina ....
    :-)

Thanks Frog. I think that might be of the genus Roccella, Roccella phycopsis perhaps, but I am not an expert on lichens. That's why I'm asking your help.
