I have a cornus kousa satomi ( I think ) It's a lovely little tree about 6 feet tall and the same wide. Problem is lichen grows all over it and spoils its looks. The tree gets lots of afternoon sun, both south and west. Any suggestions how I can get rid of the lichen ? Sprays or ? Could it be the soil ?
This is just an observation, but North Saanich is engulfed with high humidity throughout most of the year.... my Cornus experienced he same moss/lichen issues. It is too late to spray with lime and sulphur?.... please jump in any one else?
