I had purchased a golden chain tree a few months ago. I planted it in a whiskey type barrel in the sun. It bloomed and now has seed pods on it , but I have noticed that at least 80 % of the leaves are turning brown. ( They look like they have been sprayed with brown paint.) No holes in the leaves, and it appears it is only on the top part on the leaves. Is this rust ? What should I do ?
    Thank,
    Kim in Nanaimo.

Probably being cooked by the hot and dry weather. Check soil moisture.
