I have these lianas first blooming after surviving last winter, there are several of them because they have flowers with different colors and sizes(something like pennies).
It is not Dianthus barbatus, which is upright flower. This is not woody but the branches(not again a proper word)are quite long, more than 50cm, just because it is not hanging, it found position around the pot, or maybe because it is the second year for this plant?
Now I'm really curious, even to me it looked like a Dianthus ..... that is not barbatus but chinensis?
it looks like Dianthus, leaves like chinensis, but liana branches are long and very weak. Thank you for your idea about Dianthus chinensis maybe some sp.
Definitely Dianthus sp. Maybe just got rather long and straggly cos not getting enough light. They love sun.
