I have adopted this plant from a former coworker, and neither of us have any idea what it is or how to take care of it. Any suggestions are welcome!!
This is a Wax Plant (Hoya carnosa). It likes to be rootbound, with bright light, some direct light if possible.
Also, you may find in your research that it does not like to be cut back. If you leave it alone,(do not cut back or repot) it will flower and reflower on the same bracts. I love those blooms, they smell like honey! We have one in the family that has been around almost 70 years and has been rooted to make new plants for new family members.
I love this plant. Any idea where I can find one? Local stores and garden centers seem to have limited supply's of houseplants. Thanks Liz Dallas, Texas
