    Hi there,

I bought a 'Limone' lemon tree two weeks ago. The leaves were green and healthy when I bought it, it's about 1m tall but not very bushy. There are a few buds on it.

I placed it indoors infront of my french windows which are south facing. My flat gets very warm during the day. I went on holiday for a week and had planned to put it on my balcony when I returned which is also south facing but didn't want any late frosts to get it whilst I was away.

Before I left I gave it a little water as I didn't know when it had last had any and the surface of the soil seemed dry. I have returned from my week long holiday and the majority of the leaves have srivelled (they have not gone yellow) and fallen off. Is this a sign that it was just too hot indoors for the tree? I'm saddened to see that something has gone wrong so quickly after buying the tree! Will the leaves grow back? Will the buds still develop? Any tips/ideas of what I should do now would be much appreciated. I have a special citrus feed that I bought at the same time, should I use this now? The tree is in a pot with good drainage.

    Thanks,

    Daisy
