Hello, I am new to the board! I am hoping someone can help answer some questions I have regarding a dwarf lemon tree I have. I was given this tree for mothers day this past spring. we live in upstate NY near Lake Ontario and temps run between high 90's to low teens! I kept the tree on our enclosed porch all spring, summer, and just moved it indoors about 2 weeks ago to a window with southern exposure. My question is: The tree flowered in June, and produced three fruits from that flowering. When will they mature?? They are the size of limes and, well, look just like limes! They have not even begun to think about turning yellow. THey are not soft and do not appear ripe, so I am still under the impression they are really lemons. Any information would be helpful and appreciated! THank you! Rebecca
I don't know much about dwarf types, but if their larger cousins are anything to judge by they may need up to a year from blossom to fruit.
