I planted a lemon tree about 6 months ago in a clay soil. The tree initially dropped a few leaves and then seemed to pick up, there were a few blossoms during the summer and quite a few new shoots. Something is now stripping the lower leaves completely, and there seems to be nibbles taken out of the top leaves. Is it possible that snails or a possum would be eating the leaves? Is there anything I can do about the bugs?
