Can anyone tell me what this is, which appears on the back of a few of the newly opened leaves of my lemon tree?

It's leaf-miner damage - quite common here, as well, particularly on citrus. It's caused by larva of flies/moths. Spinosad, an organic pesticide, seems to work well against it.
