bought this plant for $3 at Home Depot. over the winter it started to develop both dark and light areas of spotting. Some of the spots have a yellow halo and some do not. there is one leaf which is turning pale yellow. I use well water so I didn't think it's flouride toxicity. my other thought was fungal leaf spot. is it cultural or actual disease? please advise. Thank you. I did have it in a room which had a humidifier all winter thinking that would be beneficial to keep tips from drying out but maybe it wasn't a good idea

I was hoping someone would answer too. My (different species) Dracaena has never looked perfect; I just assumed they didn't do perfect. Maybe it's sunburn? Maybe it got too much fertilizer at some point? Mine gets brown spots like that, but it's right next to a heater, so I just assumed that was the reason. The current leaves will eventually brown and you'll pull them off anyway. They don't keep all their old leaves, so you might be fine. The new growth looks good.

Thanks for the response. I did remove all leaves with spots and sprayed the whole plant with organic baking soda/oil spray to cover if it was fungal Or bacterial...so far so good...
