I just purchased a plant labelled Leea guineensis. I have not been able to find much information on the internet regarding it's growth requirements and growing habit as an indoor plant. Does anyone have one of these plants and can tell me what conditions it likes? Thanks

That is a great plant that you have got, it will bloom indoors for you almost all year and then get berries, it needs partial shade or medium light indoors and it cannot dry out otherwise it won't recover, so keep it moist always. the new growth is green and you can propagate it from stem cuttings or by seed. thats all i know, and the fact that it grows very quickly so keep it pruned i guess, or give it a large area to grow into. good luck

Thank you for your reply. My plant is very small right now but I will look forward to watching it develop. Will regular tropical plant soil be fine for it? I tend to buy a peatbased potting soil and mix in a little extra perlite and vermiculite.
