Hi All, I have 2 of these trees in my front yard. Still figuring out what kind of tree it is. The images in that post is from the healthy tree. http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=29157 The second tree is shedding leaves and the tiny fruits all the time. The leaves get spots and become yellow and fall. I have attached the pictures of the problem tree below. Can anyone please help me identify the problem and remidies. Thanks in advance, Arun
It resemble Entomosporium leaf spot fungus which infects Apples so I suppose Crabapple could be infected as well. http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/pp/notes/Ornamental/odin011/odin011.htm This site list treatments, however you'll need to verify whichever chemical you choose is labeled for use on Apples.
