    Hi there!

I'm the program director for a children's summer camp in the Okanagan (near Princeton), and I have been trying to find some sort of a leaf/tree key to help us identify the various trees and plants specifically around camp - do you have any idea where I could obtain a hard copy of such information? we want to incorporate tree education in our camp program, but I can't seem to find information pertininent to our neck of the woods (literally!!). If you could help me out or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it....

    Sincerely,

    Joanne

Hi A general guide we used with a Scout group that idententifies about 40 native bc species is published by
bc foerestry. Check it out at
www.for.gov.bc.ca/hfd/library/documents/treebook/index.htm. Also there used to be agroup in your area (going on memory now) that published and collected information on
culturaly modified trees in your area.

Also don't forget our friends at the UBC book store and forestry depts.
