Hello, I'm trying to determine when the best time is to plant seed / fertilize my lawn. I have a small piece of grass called my back yard and I want to know when is the best time to do the seeds. My condo corporation provides soil but not until mid May. If I do put seeds on the ground right now - do I still have to add the soil for the grass to be able to root properly? Also - when do I put the fertilizer down? Should I just buy grass seed or a mix of grass seed and fertilizer? One other thing - is there a "better" type of grass that I should be putting seed out for? Thanks -C
