i asked a question of a forum member also in metro Vanc BC

And I want to keep it separate from their question about dogwood

Therefore starting here - @monkeygirl thread about pink dogwood

QUESTION - do you know which edge concrete you have on your lawn edge - I can see in photos

I ask cuz I am desperate for lawn edge and it has to be durable and look decent (I already have a lot of grey Allan Block that has mellowed in well)

And I need it carried down a slope of stairs - so not too heavy (ie has to be carried one or two pieces at a time)

The lawn edge is approx 55 feet linear and is curved

The lawn slopes in down to the garden flower border so I want the edge on lawn side to stick up a few inches ABOVE lawn edge then in Summer I would use string trimmer (weed eater) to tidy the grass edge against concrete

It’s like a reverse retaining wall - no engineering or permit required (just $ & muscles)

Any advice appreciated and esp seeking product I can purchase in greater Vanc BC Canada

Plant Dogwood tree now or in Spring?

It's Allan Block AB Classic (I believe, it looks the same, it's been 20 yrs since we did it) Retaining Wall Products - AB Collection I want another row to keep mulch in, everything has grown up so high, but I'm too cheap. It runs the entire width of our lot. 20 yrs ago it was $2 a piece I think. It's probably $4 now????? When I think about it I've probably spent that much replacing all the mulch that comes off it every rainfall LOL.....
