We have a "Lo and Behold" Dwarf butterfly bush on our balcony. Last year when bought it looked great during the whole summer until late September. We pruned it a bit late winter/early spring and only got foliage this year ... until about a week ago when the bloom started. The picture is from today (Sept. 6).

Can someone say what happened and what we should do to encourage an earlier bloom next year? Our thought is to do nothing except deadheading.
